FACIAL AT HOME FOR BRIGHT & GLOWING SKIN USING HOMEMADE PRODUCTS
Hello lovelies,
INGREDIENTS:
For steaming, you can steam your face with a steamer. Girls with open-pores can better avoid steaming your face often. I used to steam my face once a week, by dipping a towel in warm water and patting it onto my face. I would suggest not to use steamer daily. It's your choice, but don't over steam!
Remove blackheads & whiteheads using any blackhead remover tool or by using blackhead remover strips.

Use a good alcohol-free toner, which suits your skin to tone your face, as you normally do. Apply the toner in a cotton pad and wipe it all over the face. You can notice the remaining dirt on your cotton pad.
At present, I use my daily toner, WOW Lavender and Rose Skin Mist toner to tone my face. As, homemade toners doesn't work best on my skin, I use this rose water toner. You can even use a normal rose water, Cucumber juice or Apple cider Vinegar to tone your face.

BUH-BYE👋!!!Meet you in the next blog😊.
Hope you all are safe and doing good. It's going to be more a kind of chit-chat blog, today. I usually prep my skin using ready made ones, as I don't have to put much effort on preparing the recipes for my facial. It is easy-peasy to apply products which are handy for a quick facial.
Despite it doesn't render me 100% satisfaction, this really supports my hectic lifestyle. Thanks to brands, for offering products, which best suits my skin and that really works well.
Having said that, I really love natural products for skincare as I feel comfortable to wear them on me. That's because of the fact that it's not harmful. Since I follow these, right from my childhood, I strongly believe that their potentials are far far better than in ready-to-apply ones.
Now, I am back to square one, guys. I started doing my skincare using edible products from the first day of self-quarantine period. Let me share my current facial routine with you for a bright and glowing skin.
FACIAL AT HOME FOR BRIGHT & GLOWING SKIN:
STEP 1 : CLEANSING:
Whatever may be the skincare, always initiate by cleansing the face. No matter whatever skin type you have, you need to thoroughly and regularly clean your skin to let it breathe.
Now, as I find time, I used to double cleanse my face.
INGREDIENTS:
- Yogurt
- Gram flour
Mix these two ingredients & massage it all over the face for 2 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.
This cleanser best suits oily & combination skin. For dry skin, you can mix gram flour with milk for deep moisturizing.
Everyone knows that raw milk is the best cleanser ever, for skin.
Therefore for double cleansing, I dip cotton ball in raw milk and wipe it all over my face.
STEP 2 : EXFOLIATING:
Exfoliation helps in removing the dead skin cells, unclog pores and brightens skin by revealing the younger and healthier layers of skin.
INGREDIENTS:
- Finely ground Oats
- Raw milk
- Honey
As I have sensitive skin, I use these ingredients to exfoliate my skin by blending them together. Gently scrub your skin light-handedly. This recipe helps in removing my blackheads too.
You can discover homemade scrub for your skin type in the link below:
STEP 3 : STEAMING:
Steaming the face opens up the pores in the skin and loosen up any dirt for a deeper cleanse. It releases the acne-causing bacteria and other impurities that clogs pores & contribute to sebum. It promotes collagen and elastin, thus resulting a firmer and younger-looking skin. It also aids your skin better absorb skincare products, to optimize its benefits on skin. For steaming, you can steam your face with a steamer. Girls with open-pores can better avoid steaming your face often. I used to steam my face once a week, by dipping a towel in warm water and patting it onto my face. STEP 4 : MASKING:
After steaming, your skin is ready to intake nutrients to stay healthy. The best part about face mask is customization. Wear a face mask, based on the needs of your skin. Face masks nourishes, lightens, soothes and promotes glow to skin.Let me share my current one:
INGREDIENTS:
- Pomegranate
- Yogurt
METHOD:
- Take 3 tablespoons of pomegranate.
- Grind it.
- Add 1 tablespoon yogurt to it.
- Mix them well and apply it onto your face.
- After 10 minutes, gently massage it on the skin.
- Rinse it off using normal water.
This makes my skin so soft, gentle, brightens and adds glow to skin. Dry skin beauties can add milk cream instead of yogurt for more hydration. Repeat it for about twice or thrice a week. You can try masks that works well on your skin or to cure any skin issues.

It also removes the excess dirt left over post washing your face mask.At present, I use my daily toner, WOW Lavender and Rose Skin Mist toner to tone my face.
