DIY FACE MASKS FOR DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES:

PRE-APPLICATION:

Firstly, make sure that your skin doesn't carry any makeup. Secondly, cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser. Then, Steam and exfoliate your face before applying face mask. By doing this, the facial pores open and it will be easier for the face mask to penetrate into the skin to do its job well.

Despite we use natural products in our recipes, its always better to take a patch test before applying any face packs on your face.  

1. FOR DRY SKIN BEAUTIES

SKIN NOURISHING FACE MASK:

Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey (organic) 
  • 1 tablespoon besan (Gram flour)

Steps to Follow:
  • Peel off 1 ripe banana.
  • Mash the banana with fork till it turns to a semi solid consistency.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey to it.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of Gram flour to the mixture and mix well.
  • Apply the pack on your face and leave it for about 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Wash your face with normal water.

Your skin feels soft and moisturized right from the first usage. You can use this face mask twice a week for best results.


2. FOR OILY SKIN BEAUTIES:

SKIN BRIGHTENING TOMATO FACE MASK:



Ingredients:
  • Half tomato
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Half teaspoon lemon juice(Optional)

Steps to Follow:
  • Blend half tomato in a mixer jar till it turns into paste form.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the paste and mix well.
  • You can also add half teaspoon of lemon juice to the mixture but it is optional.
  • Using a cotton ball, apply the mixture on to your face.
  • After 10 to 15 minutes, you can wash your face with cold water.

You will experience an instant face lightening & brightening effect.This mask can be used twice or thrice a week to sustain the results.


3. FOR COMBINATION SKIN BEAUTIES:

EGG-WHITE FACE MASK:



Ingredients:
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps to Follow:
  • Take a bowl. Whip the egg white to reach the stiff peaks form.
  • Add 1 tablespoon honey.
  • Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and mix well.
  • With a cotton ball, spread the mask on your skin.
  • Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse your face with warm water.

This mask greatly help in controlling acne, tighten pores and leaves a smoother complexion.Repeat this twice a week for long term benefits.

ALMONDS FACE MASK:

Ingredients:
  • 10 Almonds
  • 1 tablespoon oats
  • 1 tablespoon rose water

Steps to Follow:
  • Paste 10 almonds in a mixer.
  • Add a tablespoon ground oats.
  • Add a tablespoon rose water.
  • Stir it well and apply it on your face with a brush.
  • Allow it dry for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse your face with cold water.

This face mask removes excess oil from your face without drying out the skin and it combats dry patches. You can repeat this mask twice or thrice a week for best results.


4. FOR SENSITIVE SKIN BEAUTIES:

BANANA & CURD GLOWING FACE MASK:

  • Half banana
  • 1 tablespoon curd

Steps to Follow:
  • Mash half banana with a folk.
  • Add a tablespoon of curd to it.
  • Mix it well and spread it all over your face.
  • Leave it for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse it with normal water.

MILK-TURMERIC FACE MASK:

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2/3 teaspoon raw milk
  • Half teaspoon wild turmeric

Steps to Follow:
  • Take a bowl with 2/3 teaspoon of raw milk.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey.
  • Add half teaspoon wild turmeric.
  • Stir it well and apply it on the face.
  • Leave it for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse it with warm water.

This mask greatly works for curbing acne and keeps the skin hydrated. You can use this mask thrice a week to observe visible results.


POST APPLICATION:

After applying & rinsing the face mask, pat dry the skin.
