COMPARISON BETWEEN LAKME EYECONIC VS PLUM NATURSTUDIO ALL DAY WEAR KAJAL

It's a different try today. Basically, I am a kajal and eyeliner freak. It is the perfect eyelook that ultimately defines your entire face look. I always wear a sunscreen and kajal when I move out. It gives an instant pop and a fresh look.

But the biggest concern in using kajal is "Smudging". Especially for girls like me, wearing kajal ends in a 'raccoon-eye' distress. However, it can be easily set and managed. And also,
thanks to brands for producing smudge-proof and water-proof kajals.

For today, I have arranged a boxing ring where two fighters are going to brawl against each other.

Boxer 1: Lakme Eyeconic kajal

Boxer 2: Plum Naturstudio All day wear kajal

FIGHT BEGINS !!!

COMPARISON BETWEEN LAKME EYECONIC KAJAL  VS

Round 1 : Price and Quantity:

Lakme : 0.35 grams of product retails for Rs. 180.

Plum   : 1.2 grams of product retails for Rs. 495.

Winner : Lakme Eyeconic one as it is budget-friendly.

Round 2 : Packaging:

Lakme : Comes in a black color, sleek retractable packaging with a cap.

Plum   : Comes in a purple color, sleek pencil type packaging with a cap.

Both kajals are sturdy and travel friendly.

Winner : Lakme Eyeconic kajal - I love retractable packaging as it is easy to apply, even in hurry-burry state.

Round 3 : Pigmentation:

Lakme : Slightly less black than the plum one.

Plum   : Blackest of two.

Winner : However, the pigmentation is almost similar, plum one is the best of two.

Round 4 : Smudge-proof :

Lakme : Easily smudges on my oily lids and also fades.

Plum   : Never smudges on me.

Winner : Absolutely, Plum. It doesn't smudge even on my oily lids.

Round 5 : Water-proof :

Lakme : No. Does not smudge. But fades away easily.

Plum   : No. Does not smudge. But fades a little.

Winner : Plum.

Round 6 : Texture :

Lakme : It is creamy and applies very smoothly on both lashline & waterline, without tugging.

Plum   : It is creamy matte and dries quickly and thus it is little hard to apply on lashline.

Winner: Lakme, for its creamy, soft and smooth application. Easily glides on both lashline & waterline.

Round 7 : Staying Power :

Lakme : It stays on the waterline even for 7 to 8 hours. Since I have oily lids, it starts to smudge within an hour.

Plum   : It stays pretty well on me for 5 hours and doesn't smudge but fades a little, where it becomes necessary to reapply.

Winner : Plum, as it saves me from that clumsy look. It is easy to re-apply than to set right the patchy 'panda-eye' look.

Round 8 : Ease of Removal :

Lakme : It is easy to remove with a make-up remover, but a little harder than the plum one.

Plum   : It is quite easy to remove than the lakme one.

Winner: Plum. I personally love kajals that can be easily removed.

CHAMPION: PLUM NATURSTUDIO ALL DAY WEAR KOHL KAJAL.

Buy here : Lakme Eyeconic Kajal

Both are very good kajals. But, personally I love the Plum one for being smudge-proof & water-proof. The reason behind trying plum is that, it is a cruelty free product. Though it is pretty costly, it gave me a perfect eyelook, I always wished for. Getting a gel eyeliner in pencil form is something new. Still and all, I am fond of experimenting new products, I will definitely repurchase the Plum kohl kajal.
